Mexicali, B.C.- 40 students of from Colegio de Estudios Científicos y Tecnológicos (Cecyte) are the initial group of an educational project that is promoted by the company, Tecnologías Internacionales de Manufactura (TIMSA) in coordination with the educational institution.

The main objective of this plan is that students from Cecyte apply their knowledge from their technical career at TIMSA; while they gain experience simultaneously to increase their possibilities of obtaining a job at the end of their studies.

Members of the majors in Production Technician and Maintenance Technician, form part of the “pilot” team of Cecyte, that will work immediately in its first stage with the personnel of the company in order to establish a program of preventive maintenance to the welding equipment.

TIMSA’s General Manager, Oscar Galindo Singh, emphasized the educational quality that Cecyte offers and the effort that their directive boards realize to offer a better formation and bigger opportunities to their students.

TIMSA is a Metal-Mechanic Industry company dedicated to the exportation of shipping products like masts, floodgates, escalators, motor supports, water conduction lines, drainage and gases, among others. The company has 2 production plants at the Maran and PIMSA IV Industrial parks. Approximately one thousand employees work at TIMSA.
