Furukawa Mexico, S.A. de C.V. is a manufacturing company in the field of electrical devices for automotive air bags activation and automotive fuse boxes. Also known as FURMEX, this word is an abbreviation made out of the first three letters in the words: Furukawa and Mexico.
Furmex was founded on September 9, 1997 at Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico. Start of Operation takes place on April 22, 1998.
Our company belongs to the FENA APD Group (Furukawa Electric North America Automotive Part Division. Furmex also participates in the aftermarket for both passenger cars and light duty trucks parts through its sales network.
